BDPM College Ambala Cantt
BDPM College was oldest college which barely run for decade. Even many of the residents are unknown to it. Banarsi
Dass Peace Memorial College was established in 1920. It was closed down in 1929 as the relations between
fonder and its students went bitter. It was said that the student were making agitations over the dismissal of
the professor and they burnt the effigy of Rai Bahadur Banarasi Dass. At this action of student he was very
hurt and decided to shut down the college. Later on all the accessories and science equipment were shifted
to BD College.
