BD High School Ambala Cantt

It remained one of the major schools of Ambala Sadar. It was set up by Lala Banarsi Dass in 1914 for the quality education which could be reach of everyone. It was first educational institution upto matric standard throughout in Punjab and Haryana. It evokes nostalgia for many as they talk about the quality education and students teacher relation ship of those days.

I studied in BD High School, Ambala Cantt. during 1943-45 and passed Matriculation from there. The standard of teaching in the school was very high. All the teachers were very dedicated and took lot of pains in imparting good education to the students. I remember that one Prem Kathpalia of our class had stood 2nd in the University. OPS
