Dances
Bhand Pather:
It is a form of dance in a play by artists in a theatre to show the satire with light music.
Hafiz Nagma:
It is a form of dance performed with Sufiana music. It is perfomed by single female dancer
known as Hafiza with the company of male dancers.
Rouf:
This dance is performed on the occasion of marriage and Id Ul Fitar.
Music
Sufiana Music:
This music is the gift from Iran. The instruments used in the music include Santoor, Sitar,
Kashmiri Saz, Tabla, and Wasool.
Chakri:
It is a major and popular form of Kashmiri folk music. Garaha, Sarangi, Rabab are replaced
by harmonium in present days.
