The heaven on the earth Srinagar is situated in Kashmir Valley. It is the summer capital
of Jammu and Kashmir. The northern most state of the Indian mainland is rightly called

Pherons, Kurtas, Houseboats, and the magnificent handicrafts.
Srinagar was built by Emperor Ashoka and the present city had been founded
Pravarasena-II. Srinagar flourished during the Mughal rule. It was during the rule of Akbar
only that the district got the striking mosques and gardens that it now proudly boasts of.
Each place is very beautiful and unique. Sonmarg is situated in at the bank of Nallah
Sindh. It is an alpine valley, Gulmarg, is very famous for various kinds of flowers. Gulmarg is
the home of Asia's biggest golf course and skiing. Pahalgam, is situated in Anantnag district,
where you find the colours of nature blended.
Avantipora and Lithpora are two little villages who make the world’s largest number of
Cricket Bats from the willow tree.
