Festivals in Alabama

Alabama Gourd Festival: It is quite unique festival celebrated annually in the month of October. The festival features artwork of artists that is done on gourds (vegetable). It presents exhibits of well decorated gourds which are given the shape of demon, man, king etc.

Alabama Renaissance Faire: It is a renaissance fair organized at Wilson Park, Alabama in the month of October. It was first started in 1987 celebrated for Florence's "Renaissance City" identity, offers various crafts, arts, magic shows, and music performances. This is a public festival remains free for everyone.

Antique & Apple Festival: It is other major festival in the state of Alabama organized in Moultan, Lawrance County, Alabama. It presents exhibits of various home grown apples which are tasted by guests and get prizes according to their quality.

Bloomin' Festival: It is two day art festival organized in campus of St. Bernard Abbey and Prep School. It displays arts of various artists that include handmade quilts, Children’s Accessories, Hand dyed clothings, metal art, wooden art, Leather products, birdhouses etc.

Christmas in the Park: It is one of the most awaited festivals in the state Alabama, celebrated at Arab City Park. It displays beautiful lighting on 29th November every year. Every Wednesday until Christmas comes, Christmas movie is shown here.
