Culture of Alabama

Alabama has been the witness of American Civil War, World War 2 and other historical events that have surely affected its culture. It is the land of rich history, culture that is seen in its architecture of antebellum homes, old American buildings also registered in National Registry of Historic Places. Coming to food, barbecue and gulf sea food is quite popular in the region. Loyal fans, baked grits, ribs, and fish dishes are the major meal of the state. Alabama has its own fishing village in Bayou La Batre, falls in Mobile County.
