People can reach there in various travelling sources because the city is connected to all sources like as railway, buses, flights and also boats. The Calicuit international airport is just 28 kilometer away from the city of Kozhikode where in all the time domestic and international flights are run. In the city you can also reach by train because there are several trains in all over the India reached there. Kozhikode railway station is also known as Calicuit railway station which is the largest station in the city because there are two terminals and four platforms.
In the city there are large numbers of private and government buses ply on the routes. The KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) buses runs regular too many neighbouring state and also many destinations of the city. The district city has an intermediate port which including Beypore and a minor port at Vadakara and the port of Kozhikode is open for coastal and foreign trade.
