Jamnagar is the coastal city situated in Gujrat and south to the Gulf of Katch. This princely city of the past was founded by the Jam Raval in 1540AD and was the capital of Nawanagar for four centuries. From beaches to architecture it has every thing what a tourist wants.

It is worth to mention that The Bala Hanuman temple of Jamnagar has registered its name in Guinness Book of World Record for continuously chanting the “Ramdhun” since 1964. Jamnagar is also known as the “Oil City” as it is the place where Reliance Industries has set up the world’s largest refinery. It is also the abode of Essar Oil Refinery. Besides the base station of Indian Army, Jamnagar is the place where India’s first Marine Park is situated.
