Hyderabad's most well known and grand palace is FALAKNUMA PALACE made by Nawab
Vicar-ul-Umra in 1892 and Nizam Mahboob Ali Khan purchased it later. This palace is located on the
hill 2000 feet high on the southern fringes of the city. Italian architect designed this palace and made
with imported material.There are many paintings, statues, and English furniture in this palace. It also
has a assembly of books, manuscripts and jade. Special permission is required to see it, as it is the
individual property of Nizam's family.
ASMAN GARH PALACE was concieved and built by Sir Osman Jah, a noble belonging to the
Paigah family who had been Prime minister of Hyderabad State. The Palace with granite walls and
arched windows is now turned into archaeological museum which is stand on the top of a hill at a
distance of Hyderabad TV Tower
