The Bhavani Sangameshwarar Temple:- One of the most popular temple in the city. It is situated at the assemblage of three rivers, Amudha, Cauvery and Bhabani and it is better known as Triveni Sangam of North India.
Bannari Temple:- One of the most noted Sakthi temples of South India. This temple is very famous for its Kundam or firewalk festivals. Bannari temple is located at the bottom of the Western Ghats and provides a spectacular view to the visitors.
Kodumudi:- This place is very popular for the Magudeswarar Temple, situated in the bank of Cauvery. This temple is also well known for its three great Hindus Gods, Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma in one campus.
Lord Murugan:- In the city there are number of temples which are dedicated to Lord Murugan and all these temples are constructed in the hills.
Apart from these religious places Thindal Murugan Temple, Arudra Kabaliswarar Temple, Mahimaliswarar Temple, Natadreeswarar Temple, Periamariamman Temple, etc. are also the very famous temples in the city.
