Aurangabad Museum name is Chatrapathi Shivaji Museum which was founded by Municipal Canada Goose Hybridge Lite Jacket Corporation. The Museum is situated near the Nehru Bal Udyan. There are six exhibition halls in the Museum. Chatrapathi Shivaji Museum exhibition provides an idea about the ball Gown robes de mariee, the military ability of Maratha warriors. There are some antiques and weapon which were used in the Maratha Empire, there are 500 old war suit, there is an old Paithani sari that is old about 400 years and Quran which is handwritten by Aurangzeb. Himroo is a fabric which is made of cotton and silk as well as of lustre of satin. Himroo is a famous as the old age weaving craft from the times of Mohammad Tughlaq. Himroo is also known as Kum Khuab and is a distinctive and characteristic. Himroo made shawls with the different design and style that is demanded most in Aurangabad.
Paithani Textile is famous for the Paithani sarees that is from the Paithan considered one and all the price possession. Paithani Textiles uses the yarn of pure Zari/gold threads and pure silk. Kaghzipura is the place where first handmade papers were founded these papers are used for the Quran to be printed. Mongol invaders took the technology from there.
Bidriware is a form of silver and gold inlays on the copper that is preserved from the Persian traditions. This ancient art can found expression in the modern items such as nameplates, cufflinks, etc. Typical bidri contains the jewellery, plates, bowls, huqqa bases, vases, trinket boxes and ashtrays.
