To visit
Agra is to take a walk through history. Most of its monuments are well known, though there are a number tombs, churches, cemeteries and garden that remain unexplored. Visitors who come calling from
Delhi would do themselves a favour in returning, for each of the monuments is worth spending a good deal of time over. Mere traipsing through each would be doing them a grave injustice. We suggest you begin with Fatehpur Sikri , spending first half of the day there, then move on to Sikandra and the monuments on the eastern bank of the Ganga for the rest of the day. Give the western bank on which site the Agra Fort and the Taj , the better part of the next day, for they need maximum attention.Do carry a bottle of water and some sandwiches.
