Public Works Department is working under the State Government of Maharashtra. The Organization trusted with the liability of development and servicing of structures for most of the Maharastra government divisions and Public undertaking and servicing of road works such as the National Roadways, State Roadways and Major Region streets. The Organization also responsible for maintaining the Parks and Gardens, Rest Houses, etc. The Organization is transferred into computerization organization in 1988.
