Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering - YCCE Nagpur is one of the leading colleges of engineering in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. The Goal of the Institution is to provide excellent educational and environment to the students at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering - YCCE Nagpur has three-storied fully computerized library spreading over an area of 1666 Sq.M. Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering - YCCE Nagpur has boys’ and girls' hostels separately. The boys' hostel is situated at the campus and the girls' hostel is at Hingna T-point, 5 km from the college. The boys' hostel has many facilities like mess, recreation rooms, gym, volleyball and basketball courts, cricket and football grounds along with facilities for athletics. Expertise is available to the students in the fields of artificial intelligence, information systems, operating systems, anti-viruses, data encryption, Bio Informatics, networking, multi-lingual information systems.

With constant interaction with the industry, the department has taken on projects in database, voice recognition, knowledge based systems, multi lingual data processing, image processing and GIS to name a few. The department aspires to become a major learning center in the areas of Computer Networking, Data warehousing & mining and image processing.

In addition, Language laboratory has been developed by the Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering - YCCE Nagpur to help in sharpening of communication skills in English outside the classroom. The Lab also offers facilities to learn languages like French and German to the interested students.

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering - YCCE Nagpur offers 4 years bachelor's degree different courses like Civil, Computer Engg., Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Information Technology, Mechanical Production Engineering, Electronics & Computer Science Engg. Admission to these courses is made through a merit list that is prepared on the basis of the score of the candidates in the MHT - CET.

A full time Training and Placement Officer works under the direction of the Dean in the college. Eligible students of 3rd & 4th year sit for campus interviews that are conducted by various companies arranged by T & P Department. The department takes care and ensures interaction with the industry by arranging guest lectures and seminars. The department also arranges for vocational training for its students.
