PhD Quantum Information in University of Waterloo
The requirements for the PhD degree in Applied Mathematics (Quantum Information) are:
1) four one-term (0.50 unit) graduate courses after the Master's degree, with a breadth requirement and Quantum Information course requirement, or eight one-term (0.50 unit) graduate courses after the Bachelor's degree, with a breadth requirement and Quantum Information course requirement,
2) the successful completion of the PhD Comprehensive Examination,
3) the PhD Lecturing Requirement
4) the Quantum Information Seminar Requirement
5) the presentation and defence of a PhD thesis in Quantum Information which contains the results of original research.
