PhD Health Studies and Gerontology in University of Waterloo
Students applying to the PhD are required to complete a Master's degree with content related to health or gerontology. Following are admission requirements:
1) an MSc degree, (or its equivalent) in areas comparable to the background qualifications for the MSc described above with a minimum B average in master's level coursework completion of Master's thesis.
2) proof of competency in English (if applicable) including TOEFL score of 550 (213 is the computerised version) and TWE of 4.0 for students taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language.
3) each applicant must submit a letter indicating reasons for pursuing graduate studies, a written statement outlining his or her research interests,
4) three letters of reference from academic sources and a curriculum vitae/resume.
