Master of Health Informatics in University of Waterloo
The minimum requirements for admission to the Master of Health Informatics program are:
1) an Honours Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Design Engineering, or equivalent with at least a B+ standing (78%)
2) three letters of reference, at least two of which should be from academic sources
3) proof of competency in English (if applicable). A score of 600 is required on the paper version of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and 4.0 on the TWE. A minimum score of 250 is required on the computer version of the TOEFL and a score of 100 is required on the on the Internet version of TOEFL. (See Academic Regulations - English Language Proficiency Certification for other acceptable tests of English.) Most successful applicants have scores higher than these minima.
4) GRE general test report for all applicants who have completed their post-secondary education outside of Canada or the United States.
