1) Admission to the Doctoral program requires a demonstrated capacity to undertake advanced research through successful completion of a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related Applied Science field, with a minimum graduate grade point average of A-.
2) Applicants whose language of instruction during their undergraduate studies was a language other than English are required to submit a test of English language proficiency. Students may submit scores from either Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Cambridge International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or the Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) test.
