1) You'll need a good first degree in any subject. If you have other qualifications but experience of Japan, we'll look at your application favourably.
2) You must have studied the Japanese language at an upper intermediate level, reaching an appropriate standard (approximately 800–1,000 characters and about Level 2 of the Japan Foundation Proficiency Test). You'll take a diagnostic test if you haven't passed Level 2.
3) Native speakers of Japanese should not choose this degree.
