Applicants should normally have a first-class or 2.1 honours degree in law, or in a degree with a major law component. Applicants with a 2.2 will be considered if supported by strong academic references and evidence of academic capability at 2.1 level. Fellows of the Institute of Legal Executives with a pass in the criminal law paper will be eligible.
