Maneklal Nanavati Law College is one of the leading institutions of the Gujarat Law Society situated at Lal Darwaja, the centre of the city of Ahmedabad. The College was the third Law College set up by the Gujarat Law Society to facilitate the need of the society.

Maneklal Nanavati Law College was founded recently in the year 2007. The College has the feature of giving to the Judiciary, the Bar,

Two previous Judges, three sitting Judges of the High Court of Gujarat and lower judiciary are pass outs of the College. Two members of the Staff of the College presently are also the alumni of the College.
Maneklal Nanavati Law College has a big Library room that has a collection of over 10,000 Law books and reference books, Law Journals, encyclopedias and Magazines. The Library is set up with computer and internet facility in addition to the AIR Case Finder software for perusing the judgments of the Supreme Court. The Library also has the facility for the research work. The Library is partly computerized with the ‘College’ version of Soul Software of INFLIBNET.
Maneklal Nanavati Law College offers courses that lead to the degrees of LL.B. (General) at the end of two academic years and LL.B. (Special) at the end of three academic years. Each academic year is divided into two Semesters which are LL.B. (General) which is a 2 year degree program that consists of First LL.B. -2 semesters and Second LL.B.-2 semesters. LL.B. (Special) which is a 3 year degree program that consists of additional 2 semesters of Third LL.B. LL.B. (Special) degree enables the students to enroll as an advocate.
Maneklal Nanavati Law College has a placement cell which helps its students in getting a job. The College helps the students to get jobs in law firms or at the office of senior advocates or notifies the students regarding the competitive examinations that need special knowledge of law, like Judicial Magistrate (First Class) and Civil Judge Examination, Law Officer in any company etc. With the aim of imparting practical training and getting the students familiar with the court proceedings, Maneklal Nanavati Law College arranges moot-court competitions.
Here the students are given special training for the moot court competitions by the faculty members like how to conduct oneself in the court room, how to address the Judges, how to present the case and how to cite the judgments of the court etc. Students are frequently participating at the intercollegiate moot-court competitions which are held at the state level.....Reading in short
