Genetic Counseling M Sc in The University of Manchester
1) Honours degree, preferably in one of the biological sciences, nursing or psychology.
2) Minimum 6 months full-time equivalent working in a caring role (this may be through previous professional work (e.g. nursing/social work) or in a voluntary capacity.
3) A proven interest and understanding of the genetic counselling profession. Applicants are expected to demonstrate this through reflection on background reading and where possible contact with practicing genetic counsellors.
