1) Applicants are expected to have a first or upper second class degree (or its international equivalent) from a recognized research university. We welcome applicants from a range of degree backgrounds, especially Geography, Politics, Anthropology, Sociology and Philosophy. Candidates are expected to work very hard while studying for the MSc, and may need to undertake additional study on their own if they do not understand basic knowledge presupposed in some of the taught modules.
