MA Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy in University of Leicester
1) Degree or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g. in nursing, social work, youth and community work, education) that indicates you are able to reach the required academic standard OR have a minimum of five years’ experience in a relevant professional role.
2) Have completed a course in counselling of a minimum of 50 hours; have some understanding of psychodynamic theory; and have relevant practical experience of working in a helping role in either a voluntary or a paid capacity.
3) To have had experience of psychodynamic personal therapy (a minimum of 40 hours) or to have made financial and practical arrangements to complete a minimum of 40 hours of personal psychodynamic therapy by the end of the course.
