In 1981, the Library of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science - KITS Warangal was set up with a collection of 387 books in three steel almirahs and a reading room (42.75 sq. m) to read these books in, along with a few newspapers and magazines. Today, the library is set up in almost 75% of the ground floor of Block-II, measuring 1200sq.m and serves 2823 clients. The Institute has eight branches of Engineering at UG level, 5 branches at PG level MBA, MCA and three M.Sc. Programmes in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

The Laboratory was set up in April, 2004 in Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science - KITS Warangal. There is a Boys hostel within the campus which can accommodate around 225 students. Facilities in the hostels are: Color T.V., STD Facility, Internet Facility, Daily News Papers, Reading Room and GYM. There is also a Girls hostel within the campus which can accommodate around 90 students. The Facilities in the girl’s hostels are: Color T.V, STD Facility, Internet Facility, Daily News Papers, GYM and Round the clock security. English Language Laboratory (ELL): The English Language Laboratory looks after the needs of developing professional communication skills of the students which is a prominent factor in increasing the employability of engineers. Departmental Stores, Dispensary, State Bank of Hyderabad, KITS Extension Counter, Canteen, Auto Xerox and STD/ISD booth are also in the campus. Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science - KITS Warangal offers various Undergraduate courses in Technology and Postgraduate courses in Technology, Business Administration, Computer Applications, and Science.

Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science - KITS Warangal is a recognized Institute and is affiliated to the Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal and accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.
