Hostel: International College of Hotel Management - ICHM Adelaide offers a number of options for students looking for accommodation. The on-campus hostel, Regency International House houses 180 students, all in no-sharing rooms, with a personal computer and an Internet connection. As a rule, all Year 1 students and new students arriving in other Years are given preference. Apart from that, IHCM Student Welfare Manager assists students in finding off-campus accommodation. Eynesbury College also assists students in organizing accommodation. There are three broad options for all students: Homestay, International Student Residence, Rental Accommodation.
Students have a choice of renting an apartment on their own or sharing one with other Australian or international students. The minimum lease is generally 6 months, but 12 month leases are also common. Students, international or otherwise, should be aware of all the obligations of the lease or contract and also make sure that they read carefully the documents that they will be signing as a contract is legally binding once it has been signed, and penalties can occur if a party defaults.
