Accounting and Finance M Sc in The University of Edinburgh
1) An honours degree with an 'excellent' or 'very good' classification from a good university in accounting, finance or a related discipline and with some evidence of mathematical ability. Exceptional candidates with degrees in other quantitative disciplines (eg economics or mathematics) or in business studies will be considered, but they must have taken a significant number of courses in accounting and finance during their degree.
2) Work experience is not required. However, relevant work experience may increase your chances of acceptance.
3) For students from non-English-speaking countries there will be an English-language requirement. A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 or above on the non-computerised TOEFL test (250+ computer based or 100+ in the internet based TOEFL test) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 7 or above is required, or the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
