1) An ACT Year 12 Certificate (or equivalent) with a T-Major in both mathematics and a science, and at least a T-Minor in English.
2) Mature Age (turn at least 20 in first year of study).
3) Have relevant work or other practical experience and a demonstrated level of general education, which provides a reasonable chance of successfully completing the program.
4) Preference will be given to applicants who have an ACT Year 12 T-Major in chemistry or equivalent, and one or more of:
a) an ACT Year 12 T-Major in an additional science or equivalent;
b) other studies in chemistry, general science, physics, or biology;
c) a demonstrated interest in the field as evidenced by work experience, volunteer work, or membership of related scientific clubs or societies.
