The Bruce campus is located four kilometres from a town centre is located at the heart of the suburb called Bruce. This campus is also well equipped with all the amenities including a book shop, library, a gymnasium and a student massage clinic. The Southside Campus is located in South Canberra and is a little more than a kilometre away from the nearest town centre. Good news again for all those students who avail public transportation as this campus is frequented by buses, being situated along a bus route. Also, free parking is available at this campus. The Fyshwick Trade Skills campus is located in the Fyshwick and it specializes in teaching traditional trade such as automotive, plumbing, refrigeration etc.
Hostel: Hostel facilities are available in the Canberra Institute of Technology. They have three main buildings for accommodation for the International students, all at walking distances from their respective colleges. These apartments/hostels contain all the necessary amenities for comfortable living for any student: all rooms contains heating, shared kitchen, bathrooms, laundry services, living rooms, televisions and VCRs and parking. To those students who want to experience living in a traditional Australian household can avail the ‘Homestay Living’ option, where they are accommodated with an Australian family and live with them in their homes.
Infrastructure: The CIT campuses have the entire necessary infrastructure needed to make college life complete. All campuses have canteens and restaurants, libraries and book shops, gymnasiums, student service hubs and one campus even has a travel agency to its name.
