Master of Nursing in University of Calgary
1) Registered Nurse holding a baccalaureate degree, normally in nursing
2) Have a 3.0 grade point average based on the last 20 half course equivalents
3) Be eligible for active nursing registration in Alberta
4) Hold CPR Certification at the Basic Rescuer or Basic Cardiac Life Support or “C” level
5) Have successfully completed one undergraduate half-course in research methodology equivalent to University of Calgary Nursing 309 or 539
6) Have successfully completed one undergraduate half-course in statistics
7) Normally have two years’ (full-time or equivalent) nursing experience (three years for the MN/NP program).
8) Applicants to the MN/NP program must provide documentation from their employer confirming they have met the three years’ experience.
