In the heartland of Haryana also there is no dearth of cities and towns as well. One such city is namely Naraingarh.
Naraingarh is a small town in Ambala District of Haryana. Naraingarh is 35 km from Ambala and is on the Chandigarh-Barwala-Nahan road. Naraingarh is the headquarters of one of Ambala's sub districts. It was founded by the king of Sirmor (Himachal Pradesh), Raja Laxmi Narayan. After the decline of the Mughal empire, the king of Sirmor built a palace in Kulshan and named it Naraingarh. Panjlasa, Hussaini, ShahzadPur are few of the important villages near Naraingarh. Adjacent to Naraingarh, few important cities are formed. Yamunanagar, Ambala, Chandigarh, Nahan, Ponta deserve to be special mentioning.
