History of D-Link
D-Link is a well-known producer of networking components in the world. It is a multinational Taiwan based company and catalogued with the Taiwan Stock Exchange. The company was settled, in the month of March, 1986 as Datex Systems incorporation. It was changed name to D-Link Corporation, during the year of 1994. Its main office is situated in Taipei, Taiwan. It was founded by a team of seven engineers, one of them was Late Mr Ken Kao, the Chairman of D-Link Corporation. The organization was developed DE-001, an earlier Ethernet adapter, during the period 1987 for PC. The company issued a new product for the mobile notebook PC users, in 1990. It was DE-600 Pocket LAN Adapter. The company launched prior Ethernet hub as 10BASE-T, by the 1990. D-View Network Management Program was the prior SNMP standard management software introduced by the firm, in 1992. In the same year, the brand has released network switch code DE-5000. It is company's first chassis-based network switch code. In India, the company established its subsidiary, in the year of 1995. It's head office is based in Mumbai city. In 2001, D-Link was listed with the Bombay Stock Exchange in India.
