Jagadhri is a municipal council of Yamunanagar district in Haryana state of India. In 1783 The Sikh
chief Sardar Rao Singh took charge to rebuild the city, gradually many traders,artisans and workers
came here to settle down.
Today city is one of the centers for metal industry, city has got its fame for
high quality stainless steel and also well known for its timber trading. There are many well established
industries such as Shree Gopal Paper Mills, Saraswati Sugar Mills are in town that serving large
number of customers with their services.
Jagadhari has a Reliance Power plant that manufactures brass metal products. Jagadhari is also
famous for its plywood industry.
