Pasupateeswarar Temple:- It is one of the oldest temples and situated in the center of the city. The architecture of the temple is amazing and 100 pillar mandapam is a major portion of the temple.
Mayanur:- It is very popular pilgrimage destination which lies on the Cauvery River.
Nerur:- Nerur is well known for its lush vegetation and it is also the place of the Samadhi of Saint Sadashiva Brahmendra, who was the pupil of Sri Parama Sivendra Saraswathi, which was the 57th guru of Kanchipuram Matt.
Kalyana Venkattaramasami Temple:- This temple is located on a hilltop rock and also very popular destinations in the city. It is dedicated to Lord Srinivasa (Vishnu).
Tirumukkudal:- It is an important pilgrimage place and Tirumukkudal stands for mukkudal and it is a mixture of three sacred rivers Vegavati, Palar and Cheyyar.
Sri Mariamman Temple:- One of the most important temples in the Karur city and also the second largest Amman temple in the state of Tamilnadu.
