Getting Around Gangtok

Tsuklakhang Palace:- It is one of the most beautiful and famous Buddhists palatial palace. It is also called as the Tsuk La Khang Monastery.

Tsomgo Lake:- It is situated on the Gangtok-Nathu La Highway. This lake is a holy site and a very popular tourist attraction.

Rumtek Monastery:- It is situated at an altitude of 5800 feet. It was built in 1970 and rebuilt in 1979, and is the biggest Sikkim monastery.

Nathu La Pass:- The scenes from this second highest mountain pass are absolutely wonderful. On the route, you will be able to enjoy the views of two more beautiful locations, viz. Jhakri waterfalls and dazzling glacial lake.

Phurchachu Hot Springs:- It is one of the most sacred place in Gangtok, which is also known as Kadosangphu or Cave of the occult fairies. The water of these springs is rich in Sulphur and is believed to have medicinal value.

Fambong Lho Sanctuary:- It is one of the most visited places in the city, which is situated 25 kilometers from the Gangtok town.

Gurudongmar Lake:- It is one of the highest lakes in the world. It is the highest altitude lake in Sikkim, located at 17,000 feet above the sea level.
