Sanghol:
The Museum was inaugurated on April 10, 1990. It is situated on Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road and is in
Khamano region of the District. It is the place where Harrappan culture was found and is being
managed by Archaeological Survey of India. A tourist complex is also coming up shortly.
Floating Resturant Sirhind:
This beautiful tourist spot is run by Punjab Tourism Development Corporation. As the name suggests it
is constructed over the middle of the Sirhind Canal, presents a pleasing view to the visitors. The unique
location attracts large number of people moreover there is also a provision for overnight stay specially
during summer season.
Aam Khas Bagh:
As the name indicate, AAM (public) and KHAS (private of the Emperor use) , it was built for elegant
use of the Emperor Shah Jahan and also for the public. The garden has a cluster of buildings including
a Sard Khana (air-conditioned rooms). Rare plants of the Mughal time are still present here.
Shahgird Di Mazar:
The ancient tomb represent the typical Muslim style of architecture. This tomb once had beautiful
paintings most of which have now been lost. Though the high and splendid quality of art has been
shown in surviving painting of medieval era. This tomb is the worth visit place for art lovers.
