The religious places in Baghpat are worth to visit.
Entrance of Lakshyagrah:
It was the palace of Lac that were built to kill the Pandavas by conspiracy. It is spread across an area of
1659 hectares.
Jain Temple:
This is believed to be the centuries old temple. It is situated in Badagaon.
Pura Mahadev:
According to the local myth the temple here was established by the Rishi Parshuram. A fair is held here
every sharavan and falgun.
Valmiki Ashram:
According to myth, this was the ashram of Rishi Valmiki and during Vanvass days Sita had lived there.
It was birth place of Luv and Kush, the two sons of Lord Rama. Throughout the ashram many bricks
have been found conveyed religious sign. A festival is organised here every year in the Ashram
premises to celebrate the birth of Luv and Kush which is lasted for a week.
