Navratri is the most important festival of the city. It’s a nine day festival and celebrated joyfully in the city with traditional dance and songs. Garba and Dandia are the two most famous dance forms which are performed by Gujratis at their main functions.
The Food: - Gujarati thali is the most famous cuisine; including Roti, Dal, Dhokla, Fafda, Rice and Kadhi. Among sweet dishes; Basundi, Malpua, Ghevar, Shrikhand are the most popular sweet dishes of the city.
