A student belongs to OBC (non-creamy layer) must have achieved the age of 21 on first August of the year of the Exam however should not have achieved the age of 33 on first August of the year of the Exam.
A student belongs to SC category must have achieved the age of 21 on first August of the year of the Exam yet should not have achieved the age of 35 on first August of the year of the Exam.
A student belongs to ST class must have achieved the age of 21 on first August of the year of the Exam however should not have achieved the age of 35 on first August of the year of the Exam.
How many times one can give UPSC exam?You can give UPSC Exam 7 times if you belong to General category and OBC Category of Creamy layer. Students belong to OBC Category but come under non-creamy layer also have 7 attempts for this exam. However, there is no restriction and no certain attempts for the exam if you come under the category of SC and ST until they accomplish the age of 35 years.
