Konkona Sen Sharma is an Indian performing artist, director, and writer. She is the girl of Mukul Sharma (Journalist and Writer) and Aparna Sen (Actress and Director). Konkona Sen took birth on third December 1979 into a Hindu family in Kolkata, West Bengal. Chidananda Dasgupta who is Sen Sharma's maternal granddad was a researcher, author, film critic, educator and among the co-founders of the CFS (Calcutta Film Society). Konkona finished her graduation from St Stephen's College, Delhi in 2001. She finished her schooling from Modern High School for Girls and Calcutta International School. Konkona Sen made her introduction in Indira (1983) which was a Bengali movie as a child artist. Konkona made her adult presentation in the movie Ek Je Aachhe Kanya in 2000, in which she assumed the performance of a negative character. Sen Sharma came into the limelight with the English Language motion picture Mr. and Mrs. Iyer which was discharged in 2002. It was coordinated by her mom and Sen Sharma got National Film Award for Best Actress for her execution.
