India Likely To Land On Moon And Becoming The Forth Country To Do So In The World

ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) said on Wednesday, Chandrayaan-2, India's ambitious space mission to arrive a rover on Moon, is scheduled to launch amid 9 July and 16 July this year. The space organization is planning to land the rover on Moon on September 6 this year. The Chandrayaan-2 mission will see the GSLV Mk III convey three segments into space - an orbiter, a lander, and a rover. The lander has been named Vikram while the rover is called Pragyan. Rover Pragyan will be housed inside lander Vikram and will be conveyed after Vikram arrives on the lunar surface. The orbiter, similar to the name recommends, will circle the moon for the duration of the mission. The lander will play out a soft arriving at a site near the lunar South Pole. The six-wheeled Pragyan will at that point be conveyed on the lunar surface to do tests. Pragyan will be controlled by Indian Space Research Organization controllers on Earth. In the ten years, it is the second time when India will launch a mission to the Moon's surface. In the time of 2009, ISRO began Chandrayaan-1. That mission, however, did not comprise a rover. Chandrayaan-1 incorporated an orbiter and an 'impactor' that crashed with the Moon's surface near to the South Pole.
