Great Wall Motors Company Limited was established in 1984. It manufactures the trucks or pickups. It is the first Chinese auto manufacturing limited company become a public company. The all stocks of Great Wall Motors are listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange. In 1991-1994, GWM started manufacturing the light duty passenger and cargo vehicles. GWM established its branches in many other countries in more than 200 service outlets and distribution centers. In 2000, it commenced the holding subsidiary called Great Wall Huabei Automotive Company Limited.
The products range of GWM includes the Great Wall Coolbear, Great Wall Wingle 5, Great Wall Haval H3, Great Wall Haval H5 and Great Wall Haval H6. GVM is also merging in manufacturing the Electrical vehicles within the joint venture of Coda Automotive. The sales of GWM products are possible in many places across the world which includes the Africa, Australia, Europe, Middle East, Asia and South Pacific. The overseas production facilities of GWM are located in Bulgaria, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Senegal, Ukraine, Russia, Nigeria, Indonesia and Vietnam. The research and development center of GWM provides the services like GWM Technology Center, Great Wall Motor Engineering Institute, GWM Tooling Center, vehicle design, modeling design, performance integration development, material performance development and high circuit performance test field.
