DTDC Journey is based on the long routed growth and enhancement of its boundaries. The founder of DTDC is Mr. Subhasish Chakraborty and in 1990 incorporated this company as Private Sector Limited.It was converted into a Company of Public sector in 1994. The business of DTDC is spread throughout the countries. In 2000, DTDC expanded the business by opening its offices in US, UK and Dubai. By this step DTDC covered revenue about 100 Crores in the year of 2003. In 2005-06, Reliance ADAG invested their private equity shares in DTDC and it further crossed the revenue of 200 Crores. It provides the courier and cargo services in very short span of time.
In between 2008-2010, DTDC launched the Premium Express Products, VAS services and SCS service for customers. The DTDC Retail Limited Company was incorporate after its ISO certification in 2010. Retail Company of DTDC implements the SAP services and again its revenue crossed 300 Crores. Further in 2011, it established its business in South East Asia and Middle East. The DTDC Company offers the Domestic Services, International Services, Premium express, Priority Services, Supply Chain Solutions, International Freight and New World Retail products and services to customers.
