Butter Chicken

When it comes to cook Butter Chicken, we often feel lazy because of the method involved in cooking this mouth watering recipe. Here is an easiest way to prepare Butter Chicken which will consume less preparation time. Butter Chicken is a special Punjabi Recipe. It is a pakistani cuisine as well. Butter chicken is usually served with Naan, Paranths, Roomali roti or steemed rice.


Ingredients:


Boneless Chicken 400 grams
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Black Peppercorns 3-4
Cinnamon 1 inch piece
Cloves 3-4
Coriander 2 tablespoon, finely chopped
Dry red chilli 3-4
Bay leaves 3-4
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon garam masala
½ cup tomato puree
½ cup onion paste
½ cup yoghurt
3 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons fresh cream


Method:

1) Steam the chicken pieces till they turn soft.
2) Put 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan.
3) Put black peppercorns, cinnamon, cloves, dry red chilli, bay leaves.
4) After 2 minutes, put ginger paste, garlic paste and onion paste and fry for 7 to 8 minutes.
5) Add tomato puree, red chilli powder, salt and garam masala.
6) Fry for 6 minutes.
7) Now add steamed chicken pieces and fry for about 7 to 8 minutes.
8) Add fresh cream and bring to boil.
9) Empty the prepared chicken in a serving bowl.
10) Put the remaining butter on the chicken gravy and garnish with coriander leaves.
11) Serve hot with Nan or Parantha.

I Think, We have to add yoghurt, when masala gets ready and it is red. Just before adding chicken pieces. after adding yoghurt keep it on low steam for 2 -3 mins
