Pramod Kumar Mishra, a resigned IAS officer (1972 group) of the Gujarat framework, has been named the additional principal secretary to PM Narendra Modi. From 2001-2004, Mishra was the principal secretary to Narendra Modi when he was the CM. He as of now is the Additional Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Damodardas Modi. Aside from filling in as the Additional Principal Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office, Mishra has served in different key positions for both Indian and Gujarat governments, for example, the Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue), Principal Secretary (Agriculture and Cooperation), Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Gujarat, representative from the Gujarat Electricity Board, and as the area officer and authority of Mehsana and Banaskantha areas in the Government of Gujarat, and as the Union Agriculture Secretary, exceptional secretary in Ministry of Home Affairs, extra secretary in Ministry of Urban Development, and as the associate secretary of NCRPB (National Capital Region Planning Board) in the Government of India. After his retirement from the IAS (Indian Administrative Service), Mishra was selected the director of GERC (Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission) by the Chief Minister of Gujarat. His period as the administrator of GERC arrived at an end on 11 August 2013, when he completed the age of 65. Amid his regime as principal secretary, Pramod Kumar Misra has been viewed as a standout amongst the most impressive administrators in India.
