BUW Academy
The BUW University Library was established as a part of the Royal University of Warsaw. It was come into existence in early 1816. After a year it announced as the independent public library by the state commission of religion and public enlightenment. The first director of this university was the famous lexicographer Samuel Bogumit Linde. The library was mainly collected the theological and historical books. In the year 1925, the collection of these books enlarged by the papers. In 1831, it became the public sector library by the Government rule. That time, the Library took care approximately 1,34,000 volumes of books which was stored in Kazimierzowski Palace. Holding services of BUW, takes care, the general information, special collection and e-resources. Services criteria of it is mentioned below:
Reprography Services: Uses self-service machines like photocopier, printer, microfilms, computer printouts, scanning, recording on CD and DVD and digital photography.
Interlibrary loan: Loan Available on the books, journals, articles and copies from foreign countries.
Guided Tour: provides the guide tour for groups of English.
