BJP leader held for posting Mamata Banerjee distorted picture on social media
A pioneer of BJP's Yuva Morcha from Howrah has been captured for purportedly posting a distorted picture of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on the social media. The BJP leader distinguished as Priyanka Sharma purportedly utilized an image of performer Priyanka Chopra at a met gala occasion and replaced the actress face with an image of the Chief Minister. On Thursday, a Trinamool leader in Howrah lodged a grievance against her at the Dasnagar police headquarters. After the grievance was lodged, the CC (Cyber Crime) section of Howrah Police assumed responsibility for the inquiry. On Friday morning, Priyanka Sharma was called for interpellation. Following a couple of hours of investigation by the cops, she was captured for purportedly distorting Banerjee's image and posting it via web-based networking media. She was produced under the watchful eye of the Howrah Court and has been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days. Sharma asserted she didn't misshape or transform the image and just posted it via web-based networking media. Sharma said that she is being framed.
