Amul Hikes Milk Prices By Rs 2/liter In Delhi And Other Major Markets
Dairy major and Amul marketer, GCMMF (Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation), on Monday, reported a value hike of Rs 2 for every liter for all its six customer milk brands being sold in every single significant market nationally. Declaring the hike, the Federation said the reconsidered milk costs will be implemented from 21st May in Delhi NCR, Gujarat, West Bengal, Kolkata, Uttaranchal, and Maharashtra, among others. Be that as it may, the dairy major likewise cleared up that there will be no adjustment in cow milk costs in the Gujarat market. The MRP of a 500 ml pack of Amul Gold, Amul Shakti, Amul Taza and Amul Diamond assortment in the Ahmedabad market will be changed upwards to Rs 27, Rs 25, Rs 21 and Rs 28 jointly. RS Sodhi, Managing Director, GCMMF, said the shopper costs of milk were last updated two years back in March 2017.
