The Alamarai entered into infant nutrition market in the time period of 2010 and start production of infant nutrition from its Al Khaj plant.
With fifty-fifty joint venture with Mead Johnson Nutrition, Almarai introduced a new company named as International Pediatric Nutrition Company. The all products of this company are co-branded under the Johnson and Almarai companies. The Almarai received ISO 9001-2000 certification for all its operating divisions like as processing, distribution, farming, procurement, technical research and development and supply chain. Apart from this, the brand also engaged in charitable donations and sponsorship of events. In conjunction with the Arab Bureau of Education at the Gulf Cooperation Council, Almarai sponsors the Scholastic Excellence Award for Public Education students. The Almarai also support some nonprofit organizations like as Down Syndrome Charitable Association, Saudi Breast Cancer Society, Saudi Autism Organization and Orphan welfare society.
