Overview: Tourism Management Institute of Singapore - TMIS Dhoby Ghaut is a 100%-owned subsidiary of the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS).
Establishment: It was established in 1987 as the Centre for Tourism-Related Studies (CTRS) and has changed its name to TMIS very recently.

TMIS Hospitality Management School: TMIS Hospitality Management School provides management courses for the hotel sector. It includes courses such as the WSQ Diploma in Tourism (Hospitality Management), WSQ Certificate in Hotel and Accommodation Services (Front Office), WSQ Certificate in Hotel and Accommodation Services (Housekeeping) and WSQ Skills Assessment for Hotels and Food & Beverage.
TMIS Tour & Travel Services Management School: TMIS Tour & Travel Services Management School includes new courses such as the WSQ Diploma in Tourism and WSQ Certificate in Tour and Travel Services. Many other programmes such as IATA-UFTTA Travel & Tourism Foundation and Consultant Diplomas and the Certificate of Proficiency in Travel Insurance are also conducted. TMIS Tour & Travel Services Management School also conducts the Bachelor of Tourism Management in conjunction with Southern Cross University.
TMIS Attractions Management School: TMIS Attractions Management School provides the necessary training for each Attraction. It includes the Professional Conversion Programme for Tourism (Attractions) and the WSQ Certificate in Attractions.
TMIS Tourists Guiding School: TMIS Tourists Guiding School is a centralised platform for Tourist Guide training which includes the revamped WSQ Tourist Guide Course (English and Mandarin) as well as the WSQ Tourist Guide Assessment Only Path (AOP).
TMIS Service Excellence School: TMIS Service Excellence School provides a wide variety of service excellence courses to upgrade and improve the service quality in the Tourism industry. These include the WSQ Certified Service Professional (CSP) and the Service Excellence Award. Special courses contextualised for individual corporate companies are the school's trademark.
TMIS Business School: TMIS Business School offers tourism and business related courses, corporate training as well as forging partnerships with overseas educational institutions. The school focuses on non-WSQ courses at the diploma and tertiary levels by collaborating with established universities.
Infrastructure: The TMIS at Orchard Road boasts of over 15,000 square feet of space with 12 classrooms, 6 skills assessment rooms, wireless broadband, computing facilities, a student lounge, a resource centre-cum-study room, and a trainer lounge. A Career & Assessment Centre has been set up to provide career guidance and facilitate placement of trainees. The TMIS at Dhoby Ghaut also has well-equipped training rooms and a students' lounge.
Accreditation: Tourism Management Institute of Singapore was awarded the EduTrust certification by the Council for Private Education (CPE), the Singapore Quality Class certification for Private Educational Organisations, and the Casetrust for Education accreditation.
